Water Gap Country Club

Water Gap Country Club is a historic golf course, located at the gateway to the beautiful Pocono Mountains, that offers scenic splendor and championship play.

Water Gap Country Club, originally penned by A.W. Tillinghast and completed in 1922 by Robert White (the first PGA president and father of Grand Strand golf), hosted the Eastern Open from 1926 to 1928. During those years Walter Hagen, Gene Sarazen, Leo Diegel and many other golf legends competed in this PGA event. They often came back to play this historic course in a more casual atmosphere to enjoy it's challenge and beauty.
